In order to maintain optimum wellness and developmental trajectory it is vital to frequently examine as much of what we do, how we live, and how we feel as possible. The idea is to look for aspects that are not aligned with our conscious desires and beliefs, as well as areas where we are underperforming, and it may have gone unnoticed. We cannot improve without having a good understanding of where we are. There are often instances where we may minimize the extent of backsliding, lie to ourselves, or else put it out of our mind, pretending that everything is fine. A detailed personal inventory will uncover many of these inconsistency, immediately improving our ability to achieve our goals (and reducing cognitive dissonance).
The two component inventories are:
1) physical/ psychological wellness/ symptoms
And
2) your various motivations (on a biological level, emotional level and on up)
The major inventories are:
1) your goals
2) your relationship(s) (psychologically and sociologically)
3) other specific life areas
Many inventories can be completed in minutes once we breach the initial obstacle of inertia, which can be from procrastination, fear, uncertainty, apprehension, etc.
Build well,
